Joseph Valenti Becomes President of Retail Brokers Network RBN
Nashville (July 22, 2024)—Joseph Valenti, a retail specialist with Centennial Retail Services, has assumed the role of President of the Retail Brokers Network (RBN) after spending the last seven years serving the organization in various other volunteer capacities.
RBN, which was established in 1992, is comprised of more than 60 independent offices that cover more than 65 major markets across the U.S. The 700+ members represent more than 1,100 tenants across the country. Centennial Retail Services is a longtime member of the Retail Brokers Network.
“Centennial’s strategic affiliation with RBN has been an important aspect of our growth-oriented business plan since we began our membership more than 10 years ago,” said Arthur Perlen, CCIM, principal, Centennial Retail Services. “The commitment Joey has made and the roles he has taken on, to Centennial and RBN, have been considerable. We’re proud of his leadership.”
According to Valenti, his year as president will be driven by a goal to drive growth for the network and the network firms.
“We’re looking to build more complete coverage in key states, and further strengthen our overall capabilities,” Valenti said. “Our role is to create and provide value through strong leadership and the sharing of best practices and critical resources.”
“In the end, RBN exists to help individuals and offices thrive,” he added. “That’s what every broker and company expect. We intend to deliver!”
Valenti has been involved in the retail sector for more than 20 years, and active within RBN for nearly a decade. As a broker, Valenti carved out a specialization within the restaurant niche of the industry. He then took that success, and best practices, and built the restaurant council at RBN. His efforts on that council earned the respect of his peers across the country and established a path for him to become more involved within RBN and get on its leadership track.
Among the restaurants he has represented include McDonald’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Del Taco, Taco Bell, Bojangle’s, Sonic, Raising Cane’s, Golden Corral, PDQ, Corelife Eatery, Mission BBQ, Blackfinn Ameripub, Redneck Riviera, Big Onion Tavern Group, J’Alexanders, Hyde Park, Moe’s BBQ, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Tom’s Urban, Tropical Smoothie and Twin Peaks. He has also provided tenant rep services for Dollar Tree, Rite Aid and Great Clips.
About Retail Brokers Network
Founded in 1992, the Retail Brokers Network, or “RBN”, is a retail networking group whose members specialize in Retail Real Estate Brokerage. RBN connects like-minded brokers wanting to share information, refer business, and build lifelong relationships to be more successful. Independent firms work together on a regional, national, and even the international level in all areas of commercial real estate including tenant representation, investment sales, and project leasing. While the network members tend to focus on retail tenant representation and the leasing and sale of retail properties, individual Brokerages may also offer services to include property management, property sales, redevelopment, and disposition.
